Best advice for Santa Monica accommodation?

Hi I'll be traveling to LA in two weeks with my boyfriend and we were hoping to stay in Santa Monica for two nights. Our budget is small - max $100 per night, and would like to be as close to the beach as possible. What are our options?

ThanxBest advice for Santa Monica accommodation?
visit the hotel booking sites such as hotline, orbitz, and travelocity and check out the average price for the kind of hotel you want in the area. keeping that general price in mind, go to priceline.com, and go to the ';name your own price'; option. put in a price less than that average price on the other sites (not ridiculously less, but say, it is listed at $110, name your price at $85).

your best option is to stay sometime in the middle of the week, that way, you don't have to deal with exuberant weekend prices. and sorry to say, don't expect a beachfront hotel with all the tourists around now.

i suggest trying something like the Doubletree, or Holiday Inn, or Le Merigot (Marriott). maybe The Georgian (beachfront) or Sheraton (2 blocks from the beach) if it's a slow week.

good luck, and enjoy your stay!

Women Question. 10 points for the best advice. Thank you?

My period often last about 3-4 days. I usually don't have cramp during my period. Honestly, I enjoy having my period. However, my face are alway oily and break out during the time of the month. I also have mood swings a week before I have my period.

What can I do to improve health and emotion during period? Do you any suggestion about food that I should eat and avoid during period.

Thank you so much for your kindness :)Women Question. 10 points for the best advice. Thank you?
Stay away from salty foods.

regular ecercise cuts down on crampsWomen Question. 10 points for the best advice. Thank you?
The hormone changes are causing the oil and such. Stay really hydrated, get plenty of sleep, and avoid excess sugar, (including white flour and sugar) and salt. All of this will help your body go through all of the things it has to easily.
I think all the answers posted here are great, but I would add that getting regular exercise may help. Using your muscles, even when they are a little sore, is a great way to stay emotionally and mentally balanced as well. Remember to get enough sleep and enough water, and you'll be creating a healthy environment for your body. Good luck!
try to avoid sugar and fatty food during your period. Like any time during your cycle, drink plenty of water and don't eat to much sugar..

As for the mood swings.. i don't think much can be done.. again avoid sugar and do things that relax you.. avoid caffine to
It's proven that eating bananas help your mood during Menstruation
You should stay away from fried foods and soda. That may help. Also, for the emotional part, go to your local health food store and ask for some herbal supplements to help with that. They are very good.
drink water and avoid soda's - mood swings, irritability try having some vinegar on a salad- vinegar eases period symptoms- also helps stablize hormones. Sounds strange but it works.

For skin I use noxema in a blue jar, it is a menthol scented cream I put on my face prior to showering, don't use soap to wash your face, use noxema skin cleansing cream instead.
There is few things to avoid, sugar, ceffiene, fatty foods, and so. As any times during your cycle. drink plenty water and don't take too much sugar, candy, cake, cookies, any kinds.
There are medications like Sarafem ( which is basically Prozac -same drug ) just in a lower dosage taken in the days just before and during your period but not the rest of the month

Use CAR WASH , DO NOT USE DISH SOAP , wipe with a soft cloth pretty much it
Any site that gives the advice but doesn't sell product.

1. Wash the car from the top down after giving it a thorough rinse to remove as much grit as possible. Do not wash the car in direct sunlight if the product advises you not to.

2. Wash with a sheepskin mitt gently.

3. Do one section of the car at a time. Side, trunk, hood, roof, etc.

4. Rinse well.

5. Repeat 3 and 4 again and go to step 6(avoiding the infinite loop).

6. Dry car off with an absorbent towel designed for the purpose.

7. Once dry, buff to a shine with a microfiber towel.

That takes care of the washing. Hopefully someone else can help with the rest.

How bad is 2.8 GPA for graduate school? 10 points for the best advice.?

My friend got 2.8 GPA for her MS in Social Work. Is it possible for her to get into a Ph. D program?

I don't want to give her a wrong or cruel answer.

Personally, I think ';NO';How bad is 2.8 GPA for graduate school? 10 points for the best advice.?
In general I would agree with what people have said here, the only exception I have found is that if she is looking to do a PhD in social work in the US and she is paying her own way - they may not be as stringent.

DAHow bad is 2.8 GPA for graduate school? 10 points for the best advice.?
Actually, I'm surprised she graduated with a 2.8. Most graduate schools kick you out of the program if your GPA slips below a 3.0 - they certainly won't graduate you with that low of a GPA.

She's going to have a lot of trouble getting into a PhD program with those grades. Tell her she can take a few classes as a non-degree student before applying - if she manages to do well in those classes, she can use that as leverage on her application - but by the time you finish the masters, you're pretty much done with coursework. So she might not have much of a shot at all.
it depends on the school. Most school accept GPA's of a 3.0, have her to contact the school she wants to go to. And also they look at what you were doing in school, does she have family responsibilities, work, volunteer, etc. Also she needs at least 3 letters of recommendations.

Tell her to research research. I hope this helps
    your right...no
If they even consider her for a PhD program, she will need amazing recommendations, above average scores (the top 10 to 5 percent) in the GRE exam, lots of field experience, great writing samples, and one hell of an admissions essay.

I would bet that she does not get in. If she does in fact get in, PLEASE, let me know what school. Usually you need at least a 3.5 in the MA and a 3.0 in the major subject as an undergrad to get into a PhD.
Your right she won't but just tell her that she should have checked and been aware. It was her responsibility.

Advice on the best editing/grammer software?

I need recommendations for a program (price not important) that can edit my writing not only for grammar, but also style. I would like it to be able to correct spelling, punctuation, and grammar errors, as well as being able to look at the meaning and context of the whole sentence to detect things like subject/verb agreement. I would also like extra features, such as a citation guide. Any suggestions are greatly appreciated. Thanks!Advice on the best editing/grammer software?

I need advice on getting a private pilots license. What is the best way to go about this?

My Dream is to be able to fly airplanes as a hobby. I couldnt go to Flight school in the military b/c of my eyesight, so I have to go the civilian route. Estimates on time and cost would be great as well...I need advice on getting a private pilots license. What is the best way to go about this?
Go to a flight school and ask for information. They will have a breakdown of costs. Many will have discounted 'discovery' flights to introduce you to flying light aircraft.

I live in Canada and the requirement for private pilot is 45hrs total with 17dual and 12 solo. There is no specified time to do this in and some people I know have done it in three weeks, although weather, finances, and burnout typically limit it to about 3 to 6 months.

Also plan on a few extra hours for review (the average total time in Canada is 65hrs).

Make sure you get a medical checkout before you commit too much money and time to your license. It will help you solo faster too if you don't have to wait for it.I need advice on getting a private pilots license. What is the best way to go about this?
Here is a link to the Aircraft Owners and Pilots Association they should have the answers to any questions you may have also be sure to sign up for the free 6 month subscription to Flight Training magazine that they offer it is a great resource for student pilots.

    http://www.aopa.org/

Also if you send me your e-mail I will send you some training materials I have on my computer.
The costs will vary with where you live. Roadtrip088 said that he paid about $25 an hour for an instructor and here in the San Fransisco area it'll probably cost you about $60 an hour. So where you live will be a big factor in the cost.

Like already stated, 40 hours is the minimum requirement but the average is about 72 hours. It all depends on how dedicated you are, how often you fly, and how quickly you learn.

First thing you should do is find a good instructor. Go to your local airport and see if they offer flight instruction. Good luck and happy flying!
I think the American national average is around 72 hours of total flight time. It cost me $77 an hour for the plane rental and $35 an hour for the instructor fee. By the time it was said and done the total cost for me was about $6,500 (about 46 hours in 3 and 1/2 months). I would call your local airport for information in flight training. If it's just for a hobby you can take lessons from any certified flight instructor and not have to go through as much ground school and cost, etc, that is associated with a 141 program that flight schools like to do.
An alternative to the high cost of a/c rental is to buy your own plane. Not as big a deal as you might think. You can purchase a Cessna 150, one of the best civilian trainers ever built, for about $12,000. The plane will burn about 6 gallons of avgas per hour. You need 40 hours to get your ticket. If the national average is 72 hours, then all I can say is the flight schools are taking extreme advantage of people, or we have some dummies learning to fly. You should be able to solo in not more than 10 hours. I did it in the required 8 hours, in a T-34.

The advantage of owning your own plane is, beyond it being a LOT cheaper than renting, you become familiar with the one plane rather than having to learn the little quirks of a different plane each time you fly. Total cost of fuel for your 40 hours would be under $900. Figure another $500 for the instructor and $100 for books and miscellaneous items. Bottom line is you can get your ticket for under $2000, all told.

    An 18,000+ hour pilot.
in america, you need 40 hours for your license, but the average is 72 as stated, i pay $90 and hour for a C-172 and another $25 for the instructor, you will need other things as well like a headset so expect to spend another maybe $500 to $800 on stuff you need

I will take her home on mothers day

My mom died last summer. She was a smokeaholic and died of lung cancer.

She NEVER gave me any advice and I always appreciated it.

Your best advice on how to beat candida?

If you're having recurring infections, see your doctor or gynecologist. She can give you a stronger medicine (the pill Diflucan, or a prescription cream) that you take once a month for several months. This will knock out the infections. Over-the-counter treatments are strong enough to take care of an occasional infection, but not recurring ones.

Best piece of advice for future Marine wife?

Getting married in three weeks, best piece of advice from experience?Best piece of advice for future Marine wife?
Remember the Marines will always come first!

    Do not give him grief, or think it's his fault when he comes to you and say.....';My CO says I have to ______ or Honey I'm sorry we can't go on vacation my leave was turned down.';

It is the military and what you may think is fair or just is not necessarily what they think is.

Be independent and learn to live on a budget. Make your own friends, and have things you like to do without him. It will help you greatly when deployments happen.Best piece of advice for future Marine wife?
My best advice for you is to keep busy. Get a job, volunteer anything to keep busy when you man is deployed of in training.

Do not sit by the phone driving yourself crazy waiting for him to call or write. A marriage to somebody in the military doing that does not last.

Expect to spend alot of time alone, and understand that his job to the government comes 1st. Before you, before his children, before his family. It sucks but it's the truth.

Make friends with other wives from his unit and get Information about key volunteers who are wives who help other wives in your situation.

Being a wife is not an easy thing and if you are young then it's even harder, Young like under 25. My experience as a Woman Marine and Marine Wife for over 10 years I have seen 80% of young wives don't last because of the long separations.

Im sorry to be such a downer but it's the hard truth about being with a Marine.

What I actually loved was the long separations. It sounds weird but like the saying goes. Absence makes the heart grow stronger, is exactly true. When he would be away i would miss him so much and when he come back it was like we were newlyweds again. I loved it.

Now he is around me 24-7 and driving me crazy LOL. My husband was severely injured in Iraq and medically discharged 3 months before his EAS which sucked. They should have just let him finish his 4 years out. Now it's more of a challenge for our little family since I have to take care of our 4 year old and take care of him, and work and take care of the house blah blah blah. Enough about my drama. haha

Be mentally strong and you can do it!!

    Congrats and good luck
Girl me and you in the same boat..I'm marring a marine real soon too...I was about to ask the same question

What would be the best advice you could give...?

...to a young couple starting their sex lives?

Hypothetically, what would you say if one of your friends would ask for advice?

Best answer gets rewarded =DWhat would be the best advice you could give...?
First off, I wouldn't give them ANY advice if they were like, 13. Except that they need to slow down, and play hide and seek or something. They better at least be in highschool...

Second, CONDOMS ARE YOUR FRIENDS. Places like Planned Parenthood give them out for free!

Third, I would tell them to seriously do some research on the net, or even go to a clinic of some kind and read some pamphlets or something. There is A LOT of details that people should know before trying to have sex. It is easier than many teens think to become pregnant. Not to mention STIs. They need to know the truth about stupid rumors (like I dunno...contraceptives being 100% affective all the time, withdrawal being reliable, etc.).

Fourth...Don't do anything you think you might regret someday. What would be the best advice you could give...?
I would first suggest that they read together the book ';The Act of Marriage'; by Tim and Beverly LaHaye (Zondervan Publishing House) so they can get the proper perspective sex is supposed to have in a marriage. Then, after they had openly discussed it, if they didn't want children right away, I would suggest that they see their family doctor to get advice on the means of contraception that would delay their having children until they were ready.

This assumes that they are married. If they aren't married, then they shouldn't be having sex because sex is intended to be an expression of love between a legally married couple. Playboy and Hollywood have perverted what it was intended to be and it isn't supposed to be like a neighborhood dog running around mating with all the other dogs in heat. My wife and I both were virgins on our wedding night and we have never regretted waiting until then to have sex all these 31 years later. If you aren't married and you have sex, then if you break up, you will have wasted yourself for nothing because the guy will only find another partner. You can't get back your virginity once it has been given up.
Long foreplay! Don't rush. Find out what is what your partner find sexy about you and keep that a life! So it wont be routine and boring after you get more familiar with each other! Be always clean and hygienic. look always your best for your partner. Don't take each other for granted! Respect and when you love each other don't be afraid to tell so, to each other! Don't be selfish! The most exciting part of the sex is, to feel that you giving pleasure to your partner. That your satisfying your partner!
Wear protection. You don't want to have a baby and you don't want any std's.

Other than that, I'd say have fun.

I really like my best friend( girl) more than I friend. How do I become her boyfriend?
You have to wait until they break up(yes i know everyone says that, but its true and its the only way to do it, and no one's feelings will get hurt,..and heart broken). You can still talk to her, but let's just say that, if they have a really good relationship, then her boyfriend is the ';most distraction';, so there would be times that she will not talk to you at times. She might just ignore your texts, and/or your calls, and that's ok because if they are busy with someone that they love, then just let it be. When they break up, you are going to have to wait more than a week or two, because love is always attached to two people, and its hard for them to let it go because they care about each other. You need to respect that. Yes you can still talk to her:), but don't be too clingy, though, and don't bother them.I need a girls advice. I really like my best friend( girl) more than I friend. How do I become her boyfriend?
It's time for the heart to heart. Tell her how you feel about her. Let her know what you think about her, how you like spending time with her and ask her if she would consider exploring a different type of relationship.

If she likes you, which I think she does, she's probably waiting for you to make a step toward her; that's why she told you the boyfriend was not a serious thing. Take it slowly, ease into it. You two are already close, so you don't have to go through the introduction thing.

If she is interested in a boyfriend/girlfriend relationship with you, then proceed. If not, don't be discouraged, just tell her that you are interested and to let you know when she's comfortable with the idea. And that's all you can do.

    Good luck!
Talk to her about how she feels about your relationship tell her you feel more for her then she knows. Give her a chance to explain her feelings towards you. If it goes all right then ask her out.

If she turns you down don't feel to broken hearted it maybe because she doesn't want to ruin a good friendship.

But if she says yes then Congrats!
You just have to be patient . If the relationship isn't serious , then it won't last long , yeah ? So in the mean time , just keep dropping hints that you like her .
Lay on to her more cal her babe and sexy and fit say her hair looks nice say her eyes are beautiful tell her shes STUNNING %26lt;3
    WHAT EVER YOU DO.

    DO NOT DO IT.

I TOLD MY BEST GUY FRIEND THAT I LOVE HIM.

AND HE DIDN'T FEEL THE SAME WAY.

    AND NOTHING'S THE SAME.

    DO NOT DO IT.
    just talk to her about it....mabey you can get through to her...mabey not....but things should work...they did for my bestie Kelsy{well the guy was having troubleand they just talked it out and things turned out great}
I would give her simple signs that you like her as more than a friend. She might understand and consider breaking up with her boyfriend if it's nothing serious. :)
if its 'nothing serious' then why does she even call him her ';boyfriend';? She sounds a little flakey already... good luck tho!
sopport her in the relation ship and wait, when they finally drift away just tell her you like her, she will already know how good of a person you are. :)
Just propose and c.. By the way, if she's not serious abt the current relationship, Y is she in it??
just tell her how you feel and she what she says if she likes you too and wants to be with you it will just happen.
spend time with her.........share your ideas........from nothing to everything........become closer.......keep in touch........
tell her thats it be really sincere and loving.

What's the best piece of advice you've ever received?

If you to wish be a happy person you can make that choice, but it has a price.

You must be willing to forgive people for being stupid, and as you can forgive others you can forgive yourself your own shortcomings. Because it will always seem that people are stupid from their own choosing. You must conquer anger and fear, and understand people can not be intelligent when they are angry or fearful. So when you see angry or fearful people understand they are just crying for help and when you yourself need help, ask, ask, ask, ask, ask...What's the best piece of advice you've ever received?

    Best advice for saving money?

i really need to buy a phone, just a little advice please.Best advice for saving money?
The best way I have found to not spend money is to never carry it on you...Such as in your pocket or purse. This way it is not as easy to get to spend when ever you feel like it. When I go out and I do not want to spend money ';Just because I have it'; I leave my money at home in a safe place. This also works with banks...So if you want to spend the money you have to go out of your way to withdraw it from your account...

I hope this helps...These are just a few things I do.Best advice for saving money?
Discipline! And the Determination you need to realize your goal. Decide on an amount - it has to be a reasonable amount - say $20.00 - and put it away in an envelope every pay day, keeping a running total written on the front of the envelope which has the price of the phone that you want to buy on it; then forget about the money. Now, this is where the discipline comes in: 1. Make sure every pay day that the first thing you do is to put $20.00 in the envelope before you spend a penny on anything else, and 2. Do not touch the cash in that envelope for any reason.

Before you know it, putting away a little bit of money each pay day in such a way (and it adds up quickly, you'll be surprised) will become such a strong habit, that you will probably continue to do it even after you have the money for your phone. Think of it as having a nest egg, that will always be there in case you ever need it - and if you have another item you want to save up for you will already have money saved.
Best thing is to make a budget. Its not glamourous or anything, but it will save you money. write down the main things you HAVE to spend money on like: Food, Clothing, Entertainment, Bills(elec, rent...), Credit, and Misc/unexpected and Savings. Then, take the amount you usually spend on your bills and groceries ( you can look at your reciepts to calculate that) and write that total in the Bills and food spot. and whatever is left divy up between the rest, make sure you have a savings account and set aside a small chunk of money for that...even if its 10 or 30 bucks. The hardest part is to follow this budget, but trust me, if you keep it up, you'll have that phone in no time, and who knows what else. I hope this helps you out.
With anything, try not to spend money unless you have to. Do not buy with credit, if you don't have the cash, you can't afford it.

If you are referring to cell phones, get a Go Phone. With this, you pay as you go. Don't use the phone, you don't get charged. I don't have specifics, but it sounds like what you need.

If you want a music source, buy used, damaged, out of box, or demo models. Look for stuff in people's trash and you can find some cool stuff at thrift stores. I bought a three shelf cabinet for $8.00. It probably cost $20.00
    1) Budget. Budget, budget, budget. See exactly what you spend and where you can cut back.

    2) How much is this phone? Do you need to buy the service too? Budget in the service TOO before you do anything.

    3) Try to set aside $10/day if you can.

    Basically, just budget.
Ugh saving sucks im totally in the same boat. At my bank i had this thing set up where every paycheck i get 50 dollars put into my savings and the rest of my check gets put into my checking. So u should check ur bank to see if they have anything like that. Just have self control i kno its hard lol
You should cut down on unneccesary spending, and keep track of what money's being spent, and the reason. Plus, the cell-phone bills can be relatively low, or sky-high but only if you MONITOR! Try this, but if it doesn't work try investing.
I have the best advice ever -- get rid of everything -- turn off the electricity and stop eating -- sell your car -- move to a campsite and live in a tent -- turn off the cable and walk everywere -- that will save a lot of money
I'm low on money too. To save money, try using coupons and buying food that aren't name brands. Also, try buying things that you only, absolutely, need. You could go to stores like aldi's and walmart. They are low priced. Hope this helps. It's all I got.
put a little bit away at a time from your paychecks, keep it in a savings acount, and hid your savings acount info just until you get enough money for the phone, try to use self restraint
just set a budget for yourself to spend on only necessary items and everything else that you want (if you can afford it according to your budget) you can buy
Put your money in a piggy bank and put a picture of a cell phone so u remind himself that you shouldn't spend it and save for what u want

P.S do u wanna be my friend and PLEASE VOTE ME AS BEST ANSWER
If you just save 10% of your income ...you'll have enough money in no time.

(If you smoke quit...and you'll have enough money in no time). Sorry I just had to throw that in...

tell your mom or dad to hide it for you so you can not buy anything
    Don't buy the phone...
just dont giv in 2 da temptation of buying stuf u think u need but really dont. save it up in a container or mayb a bank...
Ask your parents to buy it for you.
no designer coffee, orbit gum, grab bags of chips, magazines or ppv porn!
Keep saving. Try not to spend all of your money on things like movies and other things.
    don't buy a phone
put it in a piggy bank. or a bank.
only buy things that you can afford right now
    quit spending it.
    stop spending it
    wellll..do you work..??

What is the best bit of advice you have ever been given or you can give about anything.?

When I was a bit younger I always wanted guide lines about how to live, how to get the most out of my life. I am still a bit like that now, except I have learned a lot of the rules myself... Just thought it would be interesting to hear what you have learned and any good advice you would like to pass on to others.

I'd say 'don't procrastinate, successful people do more, if your passionate about something just do it, make it happen, it is possible, if you don't do it someone else will so go for it.x.x.xWhat is the best bit of advice you have ever been given or you can give about anything.?
The best advise that I have received cam to me in an email...it goes as follows:

As we grow up, we learn that even the one person that

wasn't supposed to ever let you down probably will.

You will have your heart broken probably more than

once and it's harder every time. You'll break hearts

too, so remember how it felt when yours was broken.

You'll fight with your best friend. You'll blame a new

happiness you'll never get back. What is the best bit of advice you have ever been given or you can give about anything.?
Excellent answer. The hardest part of growing up is realizing that no one and no thing can live up to the idealized expectation of the thing. If every disappointment is total disappointment, you're doomed.

I will have to give you a few answers.

First. Don't allow anyone to turn you into someone you don't want to be.

Second. The quilty scream, ';I'm Innocent'; the loudest.

Third. The one who cares the most, is the most vulnerable.
Learn something, and share it with other.
Do what makes you happy. If what you are doing is making you unhappy it's wrong for you. Be happy!
One was a suggestion to use visualization techniques to put myself where I wanted to be, which was in a new apt. at the beach and I was there within a matter of months! Of course the apt. wasn't the important part. The importatant part was to see reality differently. To realize that I was in charge and to realize the power that I had. There was also a recommendation to read a certain author which I did and I think that this was possibly the most important advice I ever received because it opened a door for me that I didn't even know was there. The first step in getting respect from people is by respecting yourself. Many people demand respect when they continuesly disrespect themselves. • Need advice/ best deal for a baby car seat (forward facing)?

Our baby is now 1 yr old, time to buy another seat. These things go from $50 - $350! We want something for the long-term so likely a max of 100 lbs, but something that may have a little padding to it for comfort also. (Wal-Mart's felt hard as a brick)

Any tips, deals, or brands? Thanks!Need advice/ best deal for a baby car seat (forward facing)?
Go too your local DMV and they will tell you which one is the best.

I herd some of them carries kid seats, but that is just hear say.Need advice/ best deal for a baby car seat (forward facing)?
Good for you for taking the time to research such an important purchase.:)

However, at only 1 year old, your baby needs to stay rear facing for AT LEAST another year. Here's why, and then I'll talk about specific seats:

The old 20lbs/1 year rule is just that. OLD. It came about in the 1980's when our seats were only capable of rear facing to 20lbs and we didn't know any better. Now we definitely know better and all current convertible seats rear face to at least 30lbs, but its hard getting people to realize this.

Turning kids forward at 20lbs/1year is an outdated practice that could cost you your child's life!

1)A forward-facing child under 2 years old is 5 times more likely to be killed or seriously injured in a crash than a rear-facing child of the same age.

2)A child's vertabrae do not fully fuse until 3-6 years old, before then, she is at great risk for internal decapitation. The spinal column can stretch up to 2 inches in a crash BUT the spinal cord can only stretch up to 1/4 inch before it snaps and baby is gone.

3)Current research suggests that children under the age of two years are 75 percent less likely to die or be seriously injured when they are riding rear facing.

4)In a recent article from Injury Prevention, it was found that the odds of severe injury to forward facing children age 12-23 months old was 5.32 times higher than a rear facing child. (Car Safety Seats For Children: Rear Facing For Best Protection; Injury Prevention 2007; 13:398-402.)

It works this way: when you get in an accident and run into something, the car stop suddently, but everything and everyone in the car keeps moving in the direction the car was moving when it stopped, in most accidents, this is forward. So in an accident with a child in a forward facing seat, his head, the heaviest part of the body on babies and toddlers, flies forward very forcefully and easily snaps. If that same child is in a rear facing seat, his head tries to fly forward but is supported by the back of the rear facing seat, so there is no stress put on the child's neck and spine.

Check out this photo album exclusively of rear facing kids, many of them much older than 12 months: http://www.cpsafety.com/articles/RFAlbum鈥?/a> There isn't a single documented case of a child breaking their legs b/c they were rear facing in an accident. There are, however, lots of cases where children have been killed and seriously injured where a rear facing seat would have protected them better. And most kids actually prefer to be rear facing b/c they can rest their feet on the vehicle seat back. When they are forward facing, their legs don't receive enough support and will frequently fall asleep.

    WHY REAR FACING:

    http://www.carseat.org/Resources/633.pdf

In the foreground is a forward facing seat, in the background a rear facing seat. You can see how much trauma the forward facing dummy has to endure. The rear facing child simply rides it out.

    http://www.oeamtc.at/netautor/html_seite鈥?/a>

Here's another video. You can see how there is NO trauma to the baby, it simply sits there waiting for it to end.

    http://smg.photobucket.com/albums/v163/j鈥?/a>

The story of a child who suffered severe injuries from being forward facing when he could've been rear facing:

    http://www.car-seat.org/showthread.php?t鈥?/a>

    Now, as for specific seats:

    When shopping Remember these rules:

1)the BEST seat is the one that fits your child, fits your car, and will be used correctly 100% of the time. (This is why convenience features DO make a difference and ARE worth the money!

2)children need to stay rear facing as long as possible.

Turning kids forward at 20lbs/1year is an outdated practice that could cost you your child's life!

A)A forward-facing child under 2 years old is 5 times more likely to be killed or seriously injured in a crash than a rear-facing child of the same age.

B)A child's vertabrae do not fully fuse until 3-6 years old, before then, she is at great risk for internal decapitation. The spinal column can stretch up to 2 inches in a crash BUT the spinal cord can only stretch up to 1/4 inch before it snaps and baby is gone.

C)Current research suggests that children under the age of two years are 75 percent less likely to die or be seriously injured when they are riding rear facing.

D)In a recent article from Injury Prevention, it was found that the odds of severe injury to forward facing children age 12-23 months old was 5.32 times higher than a rear facing child. (Car Safety Seats For Children: Rear Facing For Best Protection; Injury Prevention 2007; 13:398-402.)

3)Once you do turn them forward facing, they need to stay in a 5 point harness as long as possible. 4 years/40lbs is the minimum for riding in a booster, and most 4 year olds have no business using one yet. If they can't sit upright for an entire trip, they need the harness of a car seat still. And, even if they do sit properly, a 5 point harness is safer, so you want to keep them in one as long as possible. This is important to consider b/c most car seats only forward face to 40lbs.

So...knowing all that, here's some about specific seats. Don't get a Graco Comfort Sport. Car seat techs call it the 'crappysport'. LOL Its a crappy seat that won't last your child very long b/c it has a really short shell. The straps twist all the time, and if they're twisted they won't support your child in a wreck properly. They're hard to install. There's nothing good about these seats except perhaps they're cheap sometimes. Ditto the Safety1st 3-in-1/Cosco Alpha Omega/Eddie Bauer 3-in1 seats. These are all the same company - same seat, just different covers. They stink. Hard to install, b/c of narrow belt paths. Ever tried to wash a skinny cup by hand? Now imagine that skinny cup with pointy edges. That's what putting your hand through these to install them is like. AND they have too short a shell to really go to 40lbs. And that's another misleading thing the box says - 5-100lbs. What the box fails to mention (you don't find out until reading the manual!) is that the harness only goes to 40lbs, NOT 100lbs! After 40lbs it must be used as a booster. And they do not make good boosters. Also, most kids have to use boosters until they're at least 8 years old. Car seats expire 6 years after the date of manufacture, so no matter what they say it is NOT the last seat you'll ever need to buy...Had to edit this part now, b/c Dorel has revamped the 3-in-1s, and if make sure you get an ALpha Omega Elite or 3-in-1 that specifically says up to 50lbs, its not a bad seat. The Triumph Advance and Britax Marathon install a heck of a lot easier, but the AOE is an ok option as long as its the new one.

The Britax Marathon/Boulevard/Decathalon (These 3 are the same seat, just different features. The Marathon a wide open easy to route belt path, which makes using it correctly a lot easier, as do the built in lockoffs, which mean you never again have to use a locking clip. Because of the way the base is made, it fits in most cars. And, it is worth the money, b/c it lasts usually twice as long as most other car seats lasting a baby till they are 5-6 years old, where most at Walmart will only last till 2-4 years old. Rear faces to 33lbs, then forward to 65lbs. and top slots 17inches tall, lasts most kids to ages 5-6 years old.

The Evenflo Triumph Advance (not the original Triumph, make sure it says Advance) is a great seat. Top slots 17';, harnesses to 35lbs rear facing, and 50lbs forward facing. Wide open belt path, easy to install. The harness adjusts at the front of the car seat, you don't have to take the car seat out of the car just to raise/lower the straps. It has infinite harness adjustment so the harness always fits perfectly until its outgrown. You tighten and loosen the harness using knobs on the side of the seat. It can be used in a recline position even in forward facing mode.

The Compass True Fit, same as First Years True Fit, is great too. 16.5 inch top harness slots, half inch shorter than the Britax Marathon and Evenflo Triumph Advance. Rear faces to 35lbs, forward faces to 65lbs, has built-in lockoffs, and you never have to rethread the harness to change harness height. The headrest is removable to fit better in smaller cars.

Whats the best advice on weight loss?

    it can be anything

    just give me some tips

and extra info pleaseWhats the best advice on weight loss?
    Hi,

Best advice I can give you is to just do it, I had a hard time struggling to lose weight. But I went from 289 to now I am 236 and still losing. I did weight watchers for a while, and I slowly started going to the local YMCA. I started with a exercise show called '';Sit and be Fit'; on channel WVIA comes on at like 5 or 6 in the morning. Then I started water exercise and from there I now go to the local gym and lift weights, do Karate, walk a mile on the treadmill. My biggest hurdle was realizing that I wanted to lose weight for me and no body else but me, and once that happened the weight started to come off and continued to come off, Don't call It weight loss consider it as a life style change.

Also a healthy lifestyle change in the eating department helped to more protein and fresh fruits and veggies, less white flour and sugar products ( I can't believe I said that). This was the hardest part for me.

Hope this helps.Whats the best advice on weight loss?
I've lost 32lbs just by making my portions of food smaller and I did cut out a lot of junk food. I eat more fruits and vegetables.
this is a great article on weight loss and exercise. also has alot more about muscle toning and definition
I myself have been trying to lose weight and i have found a good way! eat in moderation like you can eat until you are full but not until you are bloated! and do exercise! im not the most athletic guy but i know biking works and just other things, eventually the weight just falls off but the key word here is MODERATION.
cardio(walking, running, elliptical machines, treadmills, bikes)

Weight Training ( any resistance training to tone and firm and replace fat with muscle)

    and a good nutrition
    Eat less exercise more

    Drink more water

    It's that simple
Check out www.getfitmom.com - it's great. Even if you aren't a mom, it has amazing workouts and diets geared towards all women. They even have a free fitness assessment. Check it out!
Portion control is an easy way to start. Figure out how much of any one item you eat in a day, then try to reduce it. Then go on to another item. I started with cereal in the morning. I used to eat a large bowl, which was about three servings. I started cutting back and now eat one serving. Whatever you do, don't make drastic changes like cutting out carbs. Start slowly and it will be easier to stick to whatever changes you make.
Maybe you started out with healthy goals at dinnertime: some steamed vegetables with your lasagna, a heaping bowl of greens from the salad bar. But as you headed to a table, the fries caught your eye. Then you decided you'd better hit the desserts now, because who knows what will be left when you're done with dinner?

Sound familiar? You're away at college, and your parents are no longer looking over your shoulder to make sure you eat your vegetables. This and many other new freedoms might feel great, but they may not be good news for your body.

While some students stock up on fruits and vegetables in the dining hall, most fill their trays with things they like without paying much attention to what their bodies need. Even someone with the best intentions probably finds it difficult to resist the less-healthy options.

Your waistline's not the only thing at stake, either. The foods you choose affect your energy, concentration, and memory, because your body and brain need the right nutrition to function properly. So before you reach for a cup of coffee or another slice of pizza, remember that the right choices from the different food groups will help you feel your best.

    What Does Your Body Need?

Nutritional requirements vary from person to person, depending on age, sex, size, level of activity, and other factors. For specific recommendations suited to your needs, talk to a doctor, registered dietitian, or your student health office or nutritional counselor at your university. In general, however, your diet should provide you with a balance of protein, dairy products, carbohydrates, vegetables, and fruits.

Many nutritional experts recommend that the majority of a person's diet come from grains, vegetables, and whole fruit. Whole-grain carbohydrates - such as brown rice and whole-grain breads, cereals, and pasta - are better choices than their more processed counterparts (like white bread and regular pasta) because they retain more vitamins, minerals, and fiber. When choosing vegetables and fruits, select fresh or frozen ones over canned if possible, as canned vegetables and fruits sometimes contain lots of added salt or sugar. And even though fruit and vegetables are often referred to as one food group, don't skip your vegetables in favor of fruit. (You should actually eat more vegetables than fruit for an ideal balance.)

Protein is another essential part of any diet that should not be overlooked. You can get protein from meat, fish, poultry, eggs, or nonanimal sources such as beans and nuts. Dairy products like cheese, yogurt, and milk also provide protein, as well as much-needed calcium. Eating a few servings of low-fat dairy such as yogurt or skim milk and 2 to 3 servings of additional lean protein-rich foods every day will give you nutritional benefits without too much fat and cholesterol. Snack foods high in sugar, oils, and other fats don't need to be completely eliminated, but they should only play a small role in your overall diet.
muscle is muscle and fat is fat. They are NOT interchangeable. My doctor(who's been one for 38 yrs by the way)advised me to pay more attention to my diet than exercise, and I'll see results much faster.Made since to me seeing as,my eating got me into this mess. The less you eat,the more stored energy (fat)your body can get rid of during the day,and the more effective exercise will be.I found that fasting has gotten rid of the most weight the quickest for me.
my daughter has lost 30 lbs in about 6 months and really wasen't trying by eating salads, baked chicken, cutting back on portions and drinking water 3-4 20oz bottles a day, very cold water, speeds up the matabalism, and also a friend of mine in california was telling me about the new nutrition bar, all natural no drugs, thats the big thing out there it burns fat even if you are just do normal everyday activities, email me if you would like more information

The following healthy living recommendations will help you if you’re trying to lose weight, tone up your muscles, have aspirations of building lean muscle mass, are attempting to get a wash board stomach, or just want to feel better:

*1) Burn more calories then you're consuming everyday and measure your results using the following formula: Calories Consumed minus Basal Metabolic Rate (BMR) minus Physical Activity. *2) Eat natural and organic foods found on earth versus something created by a corporation to make money. Eat meals in small portions throughout the day and take a good multi-vitamin supplement.

Avoid “High Glycemic Load Carbs” (sugar, pastries, desserts, refined starches such as breads, pasta, refined grains like white rice; high starch vegetables such as white potatoes) and drink lots of water.

Do not try fad diets or diet pills. Here is an excellent food pyramid that anyone can follow: http://www.rayandterry.com/html/images/P…

Wats the best advice for camping with alot of ppl in a camper for 7 days in the summer?

i am gonnaWats the best advice for camping with alot of ppl in a camper for 7 days in the summer?
Its going to be close quarters if your having seven people staying in your camper with you, it would be a great idea to take along an extra tent if you have one, or a portable canopy shelter , that way if you feel like you or your guests might need some extra privacy or room just to relax in , it won't be as cramped. By all means try to engage your guests in some outdoor activities, if you keep get them involved in activities , they will be apt to spend more time outside the camper, there are so many things to do while camping, most people think that when they go camping that they have to stay with in the perimeters of the campsite or just sit around and watch the birds in the trees, when I go camping I explore my options, there are many activities to do, and some campgrounds offer activities depending on which campgrounds you go to. read this, you might find it very enlightening,

http://www.mtnsportlive.com/search/label鈥?/a>Wats the best advice for camping with alot of ppl in a camper for 7 days in the summer?
    B E T O L E R A N T ! ! Alot of ppl in a small area means a lot of Personal Space violations.

Don't try to plan too many activities and be sure that some of the activities can be done separately.
We have the adults in the RV and the kids outside in tents. The kids love it and we do too. Most sites let you put up a tent in your spot along with the motorhome. Have fun.
Get 2 camp sites next to each other and make at least half of the people tent it in one site. Campers are close quarters and you're going to be smushed to the max.
Best advice is, stay busy outside the camper. Cramped conditions will put everyone at odds.

Make a lights out agreement, that way some people can get sleep.
Bring along a tent so you can have some privacy ....
Keep every body busy, go for long walks, pub meals most of all keep active.
make sure you like everybody, and bring plenty of deodorant:)
Get tents, you will be at each others throats by day 3!
take a shower, and pick up after yourself

put netting around/over it. birds, rabbits, squirles and deer WILL eat them all.

and it will spread, so make sure you either get a bigger pot for future seasons or transpland to the ground. after about 2 seasons ours always outgrow the large strawberry pots.I'm a new strawberry grower. I've got a strawberry plant in a pot. Any advice on how best to take care of it?

The Bible, and if you pray for God's guidance he will show you the way to go. For example, if your driving and don't know where your going and you pray then you see that the road your driving on is closed for road work and you have to reroute and then you get to where you wanted to go that was how God helped you.Poll: Does God Give The Best Advice %26amp; How?
yes he does because he created us and he knows everything about us. he gives his advice by means of the bible. even though the bible was written by 40 men, it was 100% inspired by God. he guided them and told them what to write. I hope this was specific enough. If you have any questions, just ask, i'll answer.
    Uhmm.

You have to be filled with tha

Holy Ghost. And you pray to him.

He is awesome. HE HELPS YOU

    It's awesome. You'll start crying,probably. (:

Well, he isn't REAL, so I doubt he could give good advice.

Depends on what kind of advice. But anyways, I would go with my cousin, who is practically like my sister. She's undeniably the closest person to me and is much older with lots of experience. She's not the most mature person. So if it's something serious, I would go to my uncle's fiance, whom I'm very close with. She's wise, experience and rational. She doesn't choose sides.
It depends on the closeness you have with someone.

You can either go to your sister, best friend and heck, even your mother!

If you feel closer to your best friend than any one else you really know, then turn to her/him for advice and the same thing for your sister and your mother.

Believe it or not, mothers do know whats best for their kids even if they seem harsh. Even if you believe that they don't know everything, sooner or later, you'll learn that they DO know everthing
Well,A really good friend would be a great advice helper.Even a teacher would be awesome. If you need anything though,I am always here to help. :)
parents...a close friend..sister/brother...guidence counseler...a teacher (preferably a young cool one who'll listen and you can trust)

YOUR BEST FRIEND SISTER OR A CLOSE CLOSE TEACHER
    My mom!!!!
I Find it always easiest to talk to my sister, but on occasion i'll ask my best friend.
    wat do u mean?

should we advise u or r we speakin 4 ourselves?

id go 2 my sister or best friend.

  • How should I advice my gay best friend?

He keeps saying he doesn't want to be gay. He is religious and he believes he will burn in hell for being gay. I know that's crap, but he seems pretty convinced and i haven't been able to convince him otherwise.

What would you do?How should I advice my gay best friend?
...joke about him being poked in the butt with a fiery red pitch fork. How should I advice my gay best friend?
Be supportive. I would step back and say hey if you believe you are being morally wrong and want to stop being gay I'm here for you however you need me to be. I'd tell him that I'm not sure how he needs but if anything ever comes up I'm the one he can trust. That however would NOT stop from telling my opinion that I thought that him being gay was morally injust was such bs. I would probably find evidence i could use to support my argument.

Besides, i am a true believer that your sexual orientation cannot be switched off or on just cause you feel like it. I suspect that he may try not to be gay but will find it absolutely impossible. He may find that if he can't be gay then screw those who disagree. This just may be his journey to realize taht it's okay to be himself. And as a friend just support him one hundred percent of the way. And whatever he chooses to do always tell him it's okay to do that.
Tell him being gay is awesome and he will love it when hes not scared of it. when you accept it, it doesnt really matter, all that matters is that your happy... Trust me im gay so i know what its like and i am so proud of being gay, nothing will make me straight and i dont even wanna be straight cuz im happy being gay :)
so.. what's the problem. if he doesn't know to be gay.

then that's find. just tell him that don' t worry, you would be gay and so on and so on. tell him relax and the take him chill pill.
Tell him God doesn't care if your gay or straight. If he really believes in being gay, tell him its ok if it feels right. Good luck!
reasure him that there is nothing wrong with being gay. let him know that he will not burn in hell.
Don't advise him at all. It's a personal growing experiance that he should do alone.
let him be what he wants 2 be.
ugh tell him god made him that way for a reason.

dont disrespect god and not act the way he wanted you to...
tell him to just be a good person in life and god should appreciate that.
just give him some space make sure he knows what you think

Please help. I am so nervous. 10 points for the best advice. Thank you?

I am taking the Comprehensive Exam tomorrow morning. I have been studying for the test since Jan. I am already for the exam. However, I am so nervous. Please advice. Thank you.

A good night sleep would help alot. Although How can I get one? lol :)Please help. I am so nervous. 10 points for the best advice. Thank you?
Find a comedy on tv and laugh. Before you go to bed go for a walk and clear your head. Set two alarm clocks. You will be fine.

I'll bet you dinner that you'll do great. If you win I'll take you to dinner.

If I win then you come to Toronto and buy me dinner. Deal?

P.S. We have 10 feet of snow so bring your snow shoes. Please help. I am so nervous. 10 points for the best advice. Thank you?
Do not drink any caffine, get a good night's sleep, have a good breakfast, and do a quick study b4 bed.
ok so this is the best addvice for any test:

take the whole day off!! and reeeeeeeeeeeeeelax, whenever you feel nervious do 25 jumping jacks to get your heartbeat up... and when you feel like you did enought lie down on your bed. Keep your mind on something else; like watch your favorite channel/tv show. Also being with friends works really good too. Invite a couple friends over or go to the mall. The best way to get a good night rest is to watch Tv (2 movies) until you start yawning; then if you need to just fall asleep on the couch and tell someone to wake you up so you can go to your own bed; that way you will go straight to bed without thinking of anything because you'll be too tired. Remember that you have studied and you will do fine.... Being nervous is not going to help you; your destiny wont change so stop killing yourself.
No caffine before bed. Get in early to bed and do deep breathing exercises. You will be great tomorrow because you prepared for the test !!! Good Luck!
Drink some Chamomile Tea. It will help you to relax. You also might try some progressive relaxation techniques.

If i use spring traps to kill mice, where is the best place to put them? what is the best bait? other advice?

I like to use peanut butter on my traps, but I do one thing different than most, I learned this from my Great-uncle dairy farmer in Wisconsin; after you smear the peanut butter on the bait rest, wrap several wraps of thread around the bait and bait rest. It keeps it from being licked off so they have to start chewing and end up springing the trap. When you set the traps out, position them so that the are touching the walls in rooms where you have seen mice, with the length of the trap perpendicular to the wall, positioned so that the bail will slam closed toward the wall. I always wear gloves when I handle the traps so that I don't get my human smell on them when I am prepping and so I don't touch the mice when it has sprung. When a trap has caught a mouse I wrap the whole thing in newspaper then toss it in the garbage. I have used poison once, and I will NEVER use it again, my house smelled of rotting mouse for a month. I used the sticky traps once and will never use them again, the live mice that are trapped make the most horrible noise you can imagine, it is almost impossible to sleep with that racket. If i use spring traps to kill mice, where is the best place to put them? what is the best bait? other advice?
Inside the cabinets towards the back or behind the fridge/stove.

We have always used cheese or peanut butter. Peanut butter seems to work the best and it takes them longer to eat on it.If i use spring traps to kill mice, where is the best place to put them? what is the best bait? other advice?
FLUFF AS A BAIT, THEY LIKE IT FOR THERE NESTS, BEHIND THE COOKER, AND ON FOOD SHELVES, OR GET A CAT
Mice like to travel along walls and flat surfaces. Place then along the walls and the back of cabinets where 'food sources' are.

I have found that you need to bait the traps with the foods the mice like or are getting into. If they get into your cereal, bait it with cereal. If they eat your peanuts, use peanut butter. If they get into your meats, use bacon grease.
The best bait is simply peanut butter... Try and place the traps near the baseboards along a wall. Those critters like to scurry along the wall, that's where you'll catch them...
Glue traps are the best method to trap rats and mice.

I found detailed information at http://www.pests.in
It's a poison called Bar Bait. I went to Europe for a while and when I got home, my house was so FULL of the little nasty critters, even in the bedrooms, that my entire house stunk. This is the only thing that got rid of them and I tried everything. They also go outside to die, which is another big perk (I think they are in search of water). You may have to go to a Farm store, such as a Coop or Atwoods, but they'll have them. Just keep them out of reach of children and pets.

How can I prepare myself best to move out when im 18, Any tips/advice?

I have already decided on it. I will be 17 my first semester of college(I know im young for my grade). Im 16 now and a junior. I will start my first job in a few weeks and will work until I leave for college probably.I dont need to worry about paying for college. ThanksHow can I prepare myself best to move out when im 18, Any tips/advice?
When I left for college the things that came up were 1)missing my friends and old neighborhood (I moved to another city) 2) not used to living alone 3)money issues and 4)learning to really be responsible about studies, work, bills, etc. It's all part of growing up and getting out on your own. You'll find it's really exciting to get out on your own and be the master of your destiny. I think you've got a good start because you're thinking about it enough in advance, asking questions, and planning. Are you staying in the same town? Going to live in a dorm? Need transportation? Having a support group of family and friends will be invaluable as you seek advice over the different things that come up. Everybody's needs are different, but living on campus in a dorm solves transportation, companionship, and even cooking issues if the dorm food is edible! I recommend that for a strange town - an apartment might be fine in the same town - roommate issues aside. So if your finances are planned and you've got the emotional side covered, you'll be fine. How can I prepare myself best to move out when im 18, Any tips/advice?
Before I moved out I started what was called a hope chest. The basic idea was to get everything I would need before I moved out- pots and pans, towels, toaster, pizza cutter etc. There are so many little things that you probably use often but won't think about it till your in the middle of something and don't have it lol. Like tin foil or a can opener. So i would suggest you go around your house and make a list of the things you'll really need for your own place. And at a college, especially if it's in another town, make sure you get involved wherever you can. Clubs or sports are one of the best ways to make friends and keep yourself from getting too stressed.

I started college at 17 too and it can be a pain till your that magical age of 18 but hope I helped.
Money isn't everything. You have to have maturity. Instead of asking yahoo users if you are mature enough, you really need to get the advice of those who know YOU best. Survey your parent/guardians, teachers and friends to find out, specifically, what areas you need to work on during the year. Plenty of wealthy people with good educations get burned out and are very unhappy because they hadn't prepared themselves for anything other than financial and job security. Mature people DO ask questions - but they become MORE MATURE by asking the right ones of the RIGHT PEOPLE. Ask your family/friends and teachers - they know YOU.
the things i found hardest were

    1) paying all bills on time. (electricity companies can be a**holes even if your just a few weeks late they can cut off your power.

    2) budgeting - if you run out of food, and you've spend your money for the week and have to live off baked beans it's not much fun

    3) theres all the other little things youve got to pay for that you dont think about before you leave home... and extra for going out. flattings not much fun if your stuck at home on the weekends.

    4) getting good flatmates. make sure they are people that you trust and want to spend alot of time with.. we ended up getting kicked out of our first flat coz my manky male flatmates wouldnt clean up AT ALL and played they're music so loud the floor shook. make sure the people you move in with are going to do their share of the cleaning and pay their share of the rent. :) good luck.

oh and also pets are NOT a good idea. we had 2 little kittens but when we moved out they had to go to the spca so unless someone is going to take responsibility for the pets forever, i suggest not getting any.
    Start saving up.

the most important though is still SAVE UP!!!

It keeps me accountable for my life.

    God Bless you.

What is the best advice to get back at an old boyfiend for cheating on you?

I welcome any Sadistic Answers! What is the best advice to get back at an old boyfiend for cheating on you?
Well how about selling his underpants on EBAY ? and then emailing the ebay page to all his mates and ppl you know , make sure you write a humiliating discription of the ex owner of the pants !

    OR

Make a webpage, like geocities put some of his pics there after you photoshopped his head onto the body of a donkey or a scabby old dog !

Write about what a cheating 2 timing scum bucket he was and email it to everyone.

    HOW ABOUT THIS ONE !

Accidently bump into him on purpose and act all 'cool' about his 2 timing doggy ways say Its ok were cool baby !

and as you pat im on the back you will stick a sign on him saying cheating dirty DOG or whatever words take your fancy, how about writing I have STD'S ? hehe

then coolly watch him walk off down the busy street whilst everyone laughs thier head of at him .

    OR

sign up for gay porn and send it to him in HIS name to his work address (make it look like he ordered it)

I do hope that is sadistic enough for you dear let me know if you actually tryed any of it ! hehe enjoy your revenge , revenge is sweet and it will get it out your system !What is the best advice to get back at an old boyfiend for cheating on you?
Let it go and realize he was a loser and didnt ever deserve your love or your time. Move on with your life and live it to the fullest! Life is too short to be wasted plotting revenge.
    Live happily.
don't even bother talking to him. but if he talks to u just ignore him and get antoher boyfriend!!!!
With my x that did that I just broke up with him and dated guys that were obviously more intelligent and attractive than him. I deserved better than that jerk anyway.

Hmm, sadistic...um, proclaim that you are bi so he'll think he passed up a chance for a threesome.
you could sleep with his brother
don't-move on and learn from it. forgive him within yourself. i wouldn't go back with him, though
go to his house when he is away on holiday, soak all the carpets and furniture, then scatter millions of grass seeds all around,,,, then offer to sell him a lawnmower when he gets back...
If he's your old boyfriend don't bother. Just live happily, and when you run into him in the future make sure he knows how great your life is.
Leave it alone. To get back is to stoop to his level. You're better than that. Just move on and know you did the right thing.
You can't show that you're mad at them. You just have to be sweet, in a nasty sort of way. Does that even make sense? Well, it means that you act like you would be the last person on earth to do somthing mean. If you already have a reputation, than just make it seem like you're not causing trouble, or go on about life the way you usually do. Everything that you do has to seem completely normal when you spring your trap.

Get support from others, like a group that you both hang out with. Get the majority of the group against them, and the rest will give in to the peer pressure.

    Do what I call, the ';ignoring but not quite'; plan. You and your group will not start up conversations with the target. It will not be the';put them on ignore'; treatment, but if your target asks if their ';whatever'; is cool, do a halfhearted response like ';its ok.';

If the target asks if you are mad at them, smile sweetly and say no.

Once the target is considered as kind of an outcast by the group people will be less inclined to talk to them for fear of hurting their own reputation.

Help the target out with some problems. Let them know that you're there for them. Let the group know that the target is ok, but not too cool. They will be grateful to you and more respectful. To them you are a great friend- someone the target looks up to, and tells their secrets to. They'd never guess that you were the one who made them miserable in the first place. It will be another one of those sly secrets for revenge that you take to your grave.

If you have AOL Instant Messenger, make fake conversations using both your real screennames in Microsoft Word. Do any necessary formatting to make them look real. Make it seem like the person is harrassing you, then show them to someone of authority. It will be your word against theirs, and you'll have proof.

    Warnings

Even after the whole thing's over, you can't even hint that you played this evil plan on the target. That could cause a major meltdown for you.

Sometimes when you get revenge on someone you just may be getting revenge on yourself. Be careful and think it through before doing so and never go overboard.

hey tell him 2 get lost %26amp; move on life is short enjoy.
The absolutely most sadistic thing you can do is NOTHING! Tell him goodbye, that you are glad he ended it because you didn't know how to end it, because you were afraid to hurt his feelings. DO NOT say nasty things, do not say anything that he can construe as your being hurt...do NOT give him the satisfaction girl..that will do him in more than anything else you could do. Trust me on this one. If he begs your forgiveness, sort of laugh and say, don't be a chump..it was time to end it!
revenge is stupid and pathetic.. and lowers you to his level... dont be a loser by seeking revenge.. dork
Do you realize how many things u can send him in the mail that say bill me later? Franklin mint collector plates and dolls, music services , magazines etc... In 2-3 weeks the fun start showing up.
um,';I miss having sex with you';.
b*tch slap him. what did you ever do to him.
You seem to relish a sadistic answer.,You want to take revenge. You should rather be happy that somehow things came to light and you are out of it before greater damage had taken place. In my view you should rather forget all the past as a bad dream and look forward to a fresh happy life with some one you trust and loyal.By living happily with some one you can one day prove to your old mate that you are happy and you did not fall into his trap though you did slip but did not fall flat.

    BUT IF YOU WANT IMMEDIATE REVENGE (BUT IF THAT FELLOW IS THICKSKINNED SHAMELESS CREATURE AND AN ANIMAL NO AMOUNT OF BEATING WOULD BRING ANY SENSE IN HIM)YOU CAN INVITE HIM SECRETLY TO SOME PLACE FOR SEX BUT THEN WHEN HE COMES HAVE SEX WITH SOME ONE ELSE BUT THEN YOU ONLY PROVE YOU ARE PREPARED TO BECOME A WHORE TO PROVE THAT HE IS ONE%26gt;

    LOVE

BE CALM BE YOURSELF HAVE FAITH IN YOURSELF WHAT HAPPENED TO YOU HAD HAPPENED TO MANY YOU ARE NOT THE FIRST TO EXPERIENCE YOU ARE OPEN OTHERS ARE NOT SO OPEN.
be glad that he is out of your life and didnt leave you with any AIDS or STD koodies...
Don't do anything about it, go on with your life and live a fun and happy life and enjoy your self. He sees how happy you are and enjoying your life, it will drive him crazy. But don't do this for him, DO IT FOR YOUR SELF. Just being your self is enough. If you go as far as to ';get back'; at him he will think you do care about him and it also shows that you have not grown up your self yet.
date his best friend! and brag about how much better he is!
Tell him that it's unfortunate that you couldn't satisfy his needs that's why you got yourself a guy with a bigger penis that rocks your world.
U should get back with him and make him pay.....yes no yes no...you're a girl, u know how it's done...
best way to get back at him is find his current girlfriend and have sex with her and steal her away
Seriously.....';getting back'; at someone for cheating on you is so lame. It does no good to anyone. It won't make you feel any better...TAKE THE HIGH ROAD and forget about him. He cheated on you and you found out about it because he WANTED to hurt you and wanted you to find out. That isn't love, my friend. Who needs a boyfriend like that. You're better than he is...forget him.
