Whats the best advice for a high school freshman?

like what not to do and what to do. Or things you wish you knew about or should have done or advice you wish you had had.Whats the best advice for a high school freshman?
i wish i had known not to mess with the upperclassmen. just leave them alone. dont act like your the best thing that hit the planetWhats the best advice for a high school freshman?
Do NOT fall behind on your work because once you do, it will be difficult to catch up with credits.
have fun but never forget your studies. I think High school is one of the best phases in life, you will definitely meet your lifelong friends there :)
Watch your back......The seniors may be out to get you!
Try to maintain good averages in your freshman classes so your GPA would look good and don't slack off
know who your friends are. a lot of people's real personalities come out then. i lost a lot of friends but i realized who my true friends were. just keep your head up and trust your instincts

oh, and don't do drugs or drink =)
DON'T take high school seriously.

DON'T assume your life is going to be like a teenage movie.

DO try to get involved in things like at least one club.
freshman year is the easiest grade wise so do well and boost your GPA up then and don't mess with the older kids, but don't be afraid of them either, they are just kids, have fun, don't take anyone too seriously, choose your friends wisely and hang around the ppl that make you happy high schools not supposed ot be miserable its supposed to be educational and a great way to form long time friendships
Be yourself.Don't have sex unless you know you are in love.
If you fall behind you can make up the credits later but it ruins your GPA so I suggest you don't, but you should also get to know your way around the place as soon as you can. Don't think that much about things, like if you go into the Senior area they will throw you in a cupboard, 'cause that most likely wouldn't happen. Make sure you know who is there for you and don't let people get you down by saying stuff about you (rumor wise), just keep being yourself and try to have fun.

Freshmen are the enemies, Sophomores are just there, Juniors are the allies, and Seniors are the oldest so there special.

A Senior I know had said something along the lines of this to me and her younger sister but I don't remember if that was the same thing she had said or not, but if you can't tell she was a Senior in high school that year.
DO NOT JUDGE ANYBODY IF YOU DONT KNOW THEM!!. SERIOUSLY! lemme tell you a story. there was this kid gustavo. he looked like a herb to me, and me and my friend would always grill him. one day, me and my friend was suppose to chill wit dis gurl but she ditched us for him. so we confronted her in front of him and we just stared him down. the next day, this dude shows up with 3 of his friends and they had a gun. they kept staring at us. then some 3 gurls that were with gustavo and his frends jumped this gurl dat we used to chill wit. when one of my frends tryed to stop it, the kid pulled the gun out and sed, wachu gonna do?!then security came and they ran. so now i gotta watch my back everytime i see that lil *****, simply cuz we thought he was a pussi before we really knew who he was.
Don't slack off grade-wise. Do your best, because if you don't do good, it will come back to haunt you once you are a senior applying for colleges.
buy heaps of condoms. nice pic
A swirly is not a ice cream desert
stay on track. u only have probably six chances to make up for 4 years

seniors juniors sophomores are gonna say freshmen suck mostly in pep rally's
i wish...throught out all my 4 years...i wish i hadnt have been so shy..that turned al lot of people away, not wanting to talk to me...and i wish i would have been more sponanious in high school, but in a good way!...and i wish that guy hadnt have likes me a told his friends stuff! i wonder how things would have been different for me
Instant runoff voting (IRV) guarantees a majority in ONE election. Middle and high school elections would have all presidents, vice presidents, treasurers, and secretaries elected by majority in one election with IRV. IRV allows students at MIT, Harvard, Stanford and other top universities to rank their choices. By ranking your ballot it becomes a proxy for a series of runoffs, but the students do not come back, again and again.

The easiest way for us to get IRV is to help your school to adopt it for your class elections. Our legislature will propose instant runoff voting when a majority of our high school students use IRV for class elections.

You have more power in high school to change Presidential elections than your teachers and parents who are registered to vote!
