';don't order that.'; I was at a function with a bunch of friends, and they ate it, and got food poisoning. not me, I listened! really, my mom has given me a ton of good advice. whether or not I listened to it... well, that is how I knew it was good. she was right 99% of the time.

Back in 2001, when I was in 9th grade, my brother as in a terrible accident in which his best friend died. He was in a comba for four days and was near death. I had to homeschool for that school year and spent the first two weeks in between a friends house and the Carle Clinic. When he came home we had to nurse him 24-7. I didn't mind. He had been living with a girl and thru a series of events broke my parents' hearts and mine. I thought that this was God getting his attention and honestly, I still believe that. Isaiah, my brother just ignored Him. When he could get out of the house, he came to church for the first time in almost a year. He was fine until he began to walk again and got his own appartment. Then he got another girl and once again, broke his family's heart. After everything transpired and I realized that he was never coming home, I talked to my preacher. He told my to love Isaiah but hate the sin. In other words, I need to be a sister to my brother, but not let his worldy lifestyle influence my life and prevent me from doing what I know I should be doing. Not a day goes by that I do not think about ';the accident'; and ask God to keep me from going astray.
