What was the best advice you were ever given?

Keep an open mind and keep learning.What was the best advice you were ever given?
Was advised by a senior financial advisor (female) to always keep my emotional and financial life separate - it has served me very well!What was the best advice you were ever given?
blinker BEFORE brakes
Don't sweat the small stuff. It's all small stuff.
Do not expect anything from anyone
I was given ,good advice from a friend years ago, regarding work options. it worked out spot on. I have thanked her a load of times.
someone gave me this advice, referring to myself feeling upset:

*Hug*

Also, try this:

Eat a marshmallow. As you do so; say to yourself out loud, ';I'm going to eat a marshmallow.';

I don't think there's anybody on the planet who can stay sad while saying/doing that.
I've never been given any advice that is actually useful or workable. Most advice is based on tired clich茅s.

Someone being understanding and thoughtful of a situation in which you need support at a particular time is priceless and should be thoroughly appreciated.
Do unto others as you would have them do unto you
don't do to other what u don't want others to do unto you
Live life to the fullest, you' ve only got one life to live. There is no success without hardwork , so if you want to achieve goals in life , you must invest dedication and discipline.
yesterday was the best advice
Study hard (i've been getting good grades)

Visit my Yahoo 360 page and post a feedback please.
Always be the first to say sorry even if it was he who did wrong.

When my brother told me that I thought he was crazy, but it works. Even if I don't actually say sorry, I make sure i give my man an enabling environment for him to make up for his wrong doings.
missing creap
Be wary of your actions %26amp; your words...';What goes around, comes around.';

And, do not hold onto anything that you do not want as part of you.

They both were wise notes...thanks Dad!!!
Be nice to people because you never know when you might need/work with them
Do unto others as you would have them do unto you.
For everything you do in life, there is a price you gotta pay
the first part of wisdom is admitting you are stupid
Don't talk to strangers..........
Don't eat yellow snow.

words to live by
