What is the best advice you have ever recieved?

When in doubt, don't.


My mother used to say this to me. It means, if I'm contemplating doing something that I'm not sure about, don't do it.


She taught us what was right and what was wrong. She assumed we would always know what the right thing to do was and to do it. If we weren't sure whether it was right or wrong then we shouldn't do it.
