What advice do i give my best friends who's having problems with his girlfriend?

i have no idea what to tell him ti make him feel better. he really likes his girlfriend, but she's being a total asshole to him and ignoring him. he's been calling me crying just wanting to talk. he says i don't need to give him advice or anyrhing, but i want to make him feel better. i don't want to make it sound like i like him though. yaknow?

Sometimes, it's not about you telling him anything. Sometimes, the best thing you can do is allow him to vent his feelings.





When I get destroyed by a guy, I like to have a girly-girl night, where my best friend or two and I watch chick flicks and eat massive tons of ice cream in our pj's. I'm sure there's a guy version of this (maybe the latest greatest sports match instead of chick flicks? Batting cages instead of movie?). You could suggest something like this. Sometimes, we'll do a massive postmortem on the relationship and talk for hours about the relationship. Other times, we won't bring up what happened. It's just nice having people who care around. The reality is, the only way you can make him feel better is to make sure he knows you care. If you're there for him, it will make him feel better.





Also, you may consider what you would want your friend to do if you got crushed by a girl. Usually, what you want is the exact thing he wants.
