I remember my mother's favorite answer to any issue that I ranted about: ';It ain't happening now';. She meant something profound by that, but it took a long time to figure out what.What's the best advice your Mother ever gave you?
Always wear clean under drawers.

Not that she needed to... she's proud that my older sister and I are our own people. We didn't NEED, for example, to be with friends when we went to summer camps. We went alone and were brave enough to make our own friends instead of bring our own and stick with them the whole time.
She told me to take care of myself and eat healthy while I'm still young, because when I'm older I'll regret it.
