The slogan I always liked was ';Don't worry, Be Happy';
But that is easier said than done until my wife was faced that with all that is going on she could lose her job.
But her boss told her, you shouldn't worry about things you can not change. Think on the things you can do to keep your head above water, then the rest you take care of when you can.
I thought about that and I relieved that is how you keep from worrying. If she should lose her job and we have all these bills piling up as I don't make enough to hardly make a dent on what bills we do have. We focus on what we can do, the ones we can pay and think of what we can do to keep going forward. Then in time just like paying off credit cards, take the smallest one first and pay them off one at a time. Pretty soon you will see the rainbow at the end of the storm.
So don't worry and be happy for what you do have. And focus on those things and keep moving forward.
Who gave me that advise? Don't know. Just always loved that song. ';Don't Worry, Be Happy.';

';Most (people from a country) are dumb!'; I was a bit nervous and intimidated when I traveled to the Continent housing this country. He gave me a boost in self confidence, so I would not be so intimidated. Of course, he really meant it as such: a confidence booster.
My oldest uncle who's had numerous commerce with the country.
When I was a kid I had a turtle in one of those plastic bowls with the fake palm tree. I put it outside for some sun and the turtle got out. I found him in the street squashed by a car.I was sad and cried. My dad said to me,'; Let this be a lesson. Don't be in too big a hurry to leave the bowl'; Since that time, I try to think of consequences before making a major decision.
And from Mom,'; Don't brag about good fortune. Not everyone is happy for your success';
Stop listening to mainstream media.
Stop voting.

Stop thinking negatively.
Stop thinking that any politician will help people.
Stop thinking that I'm a victim of anything.
Myself.
My father used to tell us when we were younger, ';Never hate.... you may dislike, but never hate for it is a horrible thing.'; He would say this if we ever came home from school and said something like, ';I hate my teacher.'; Or, ';I hate this boy...'; We never thought he was serious and always said, ';Yeah, right Dad.'; You see, he was a man of humor, so therefore we thought he was never being serious about anything. But guess what? Once I got older, I sure realized just HOW serious he was and just HOW right he was about that. A wise man.
have no regrets.
and that would be from myself :)
think about it; its not necessarily going to turn out every time, but as long as you have no regrets, life's going to be beautiful.
From my father. He always says, ';It is what it is.'; As in, you can't change some things so don't bother trying, just go with it.
My Mother used to say...
';Never put off till tomorrow what you can do today, because if you like it today, you can do it again tomorrow';
Good bit of advise.
I can't think of the best advice, other than to live each day to the fullest.
